Alexander Khachaturian, the head of RALIIVKA LLC, spoke about how to save the Ukrainian village by making the Ukrainian fall in love with the profession of the agrarian.
And it concerns not only the reforms declared by the government, the difficult decision to open the land market and others, but also deeper and more fundamental things. Agriculture is not for everyone. This is a seasonal, variable and very complex job, so owners need to adapt to a rather specific production environment.
Agribusiness requires certain qualities from participants that can only be developed with real experience in this area, such is RALIIVKA LLC, because it employs professionals in their field. These are people who have found their vocation, who have deliberately chosen the countryside for life and who are confident that they can instill this love in their children and grandchildren.
The proceeds should be sufficient to ensure a decent standard of living for all residents where land leases. It should be enough to develop the village and force young people to stay here and work, instead of moving to cities or leaving the country altogether, ”says the head of the society, Alexander Khachaturyan.
This year turned out to be quite difficult for all farmers and in particular for our economy due to severe weather conditions. Despite this, we continue to work for the benefit of Ukraine and our shareholders. Today, even agronomists argue which plants are too depleting of the soil and after which their fields should be left under steam for one to two years of growing.
Today, such a luxury as soil on vacation, hardly any of the tenants will allow themselves. On the contrary, everyone thinks what the maximum financial benefit to get from each hectare. It is almost impossible to influence their choice by any structure from the outside. The first thing they think about is the harvest. The safety of chernozems fades into the background. We are not one of those, – says Alexander Goncharov, deputy director for production of RALIIVKA LLC. Today our farm has begun sowing winter crops, using modern technologies and the latest agricultural equipment due to the depletion of soil from moisture.
This year we provide jobs for 110 residents of the Nikolaevsky district. Despite the difficult weather conditions, we will settle accounts with our shareholders in accordance with the concluded agreements. It should be noted that we do not work “at random” and did not sow in dry land, hoping that someday the rain should go away. A difficult year has deprived us of the right to make mistakes.
We are guided only by science and experience, so we started taking only those areas and only when weather conditions contributed to this, because in our work we are guided only by science and experience, and not by premonitions and folk omens, – says O. Usually, our colleagues, farmers expect the harvest of grain crops to start calculating, and LLC “RALIIVKA”, despite the difficult weather conditions for farmers, provides a stable rent for its shareholders. It will be paid in a timely manner and in full, because our shareholders are protected by law and the terms of the concluded agreements, where the full amount of the rent is indicated, and not the scanty and insulting 3%, as in the case of farmers. Accordingly, we also pay all taxes to the budget in full.
I am pleased to hear that we are the avant-garde, we are a budget-forming enterprise in the Nikolaevsky district. After all, the rent for the land is almost the only source for replenishing the family piggy banks of residents of the localities of the region, especially the elderly.
We also help many people – our shareholders in solving their personal issues – we give them rent in advance in difficult life circumstances. We never leave our people alone with misfortune.
